Day 1 MANILA DEPARTURE
Check in at the Airport 3 hours before Departure time.
Day 2 ARRIVAL – ATHENS SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Upon Arrival meet in the arrival’s hall at Athens airport, meet and greet our representative and transfer to Acropolis, your guide will be waiting you at the Entrance of Acropolis. This architectural masterpiece of the Golden age of Athens: the Parthenon dedicated to the goddess Athena, the Erectheion and the Temple of Athena Nike. See the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic games of modern times where held in 1896 and continue passing by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library and Constitution Square (Syntagma). Then have dinner at local restaurant then transfer to hotel for check-in.
Day 3 ATHENS- ANCIENT CORINTH- PLAKA- ATHENS
After breakfast inside hotel, board the bus and drive across the coast of Attica towards Corinth. Stop at the famous man-made Corinth Canal for photos and then continue to the site of Ancient Corinth. Stop in Cenchreae, the ancient seaport from where Apostle Paul set sail for Ephesus across the Aegean Sea. Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant and then return to Athens. Then have free time in Plaka, with narrow cobblestone streets lined with tiny shops selling jeweller, clothes and local ceramics. Nearby, the whitewashed homes of the Anafiotika neighbourhood give the small enclave a Greek-island vibe. Dinner will be served at local restaurant and transfer to Hotel.
Day 4 ATHENS-KALAMBAKA (METEORA)
After breakfast at the hotel, board the bus and drive through the fertile plains of Thessaly forwards the town of Kalambaka. Enjoy lunch and then visit the spectacular Meteora. The UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is a mountainous region of stunning scenery. You will see hundred-year-old Byzantine Monasteries on top of huge rocks, during the Middle Ages, first built in the 14th century by monks seeking isolation and salvation. We will visit 2 Monasteries to admire superb icons, old manuscripts, unique mosaics and frescoes. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and enjoy dinner.
Day 5 KALAMBAKA – BEROEA- THESSALONIKI-KAVALA
After breakfast inside the hotel, meet and greet you guide at the lobby and depart to Veria. You will visit the ancient synagogue where we will see the Byzantine Mosaic in the monument commemorating his preaching. According to tradition it was at this place where St. Paul preached. Continue to Thessaloniki, after lunch you will see the White Tower, (the symbol of the city), the Church of St. Dimitrios, Arc of Galerius, Rotunda, Upper City, Citadel, Byzantine Wall, Roman Agora. You will continue towards the city of Kavala. Check in at your hotel and enjoy your dinner.
Day 6 KAVALA-ALEXANDROUPOLIS-PHILIPPI-BORDER CROSSING- CANAKKALE
After breakfast inside the hotel and check out. Drive to and visit Philippi the town where St. paul delivered his first sermon in Europe, sowing the seeds of Christianity. There there first Christian baptism was perfromed, of a woman named Lydia. You will visit the Roman Theatre, probable site of the prisojn where St. Paul and Silas were arrested. Then transfer to Alexandroupolis at the border with Turkey where you will be dropped off at the parking area of customs on the Greek side of the boarders. Upon crossing the border, meet and greet your guide then continue to Troy wooden horse & Troy Ancient City. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay and dinner will be served at hotel.
Day 7 CANAKKALE-PERGAMON-KUSADASI
After breakfast inside the hotel proceed to Bergama Town Center then visit the Asklepion Ancient City. Along the way, feast your eyes on the beautiful Aegean Sea View. Move to visit Grotto of Seven Sleepers, this was discovered by both Christians and Moslems with a growing interest. According to the Christian legend seven young men were walled in during the reign of Decius and yet were seen alive in the streets of Ephesus during the reign of Theodosius II some years after the Council of Ephesus. Transger to your hotel fo check-in and overnight stay. Dinner will be prepared inside the hotel.
Day 8 KUSADASI-PAMUKKALE
After breakfast inside hotel, start our day with an upbeat fashion show showcasing high quality leather products made in Turkey. Ephesus ancient city, one of the world’s most outstanding archaeological sites. Walk in its preserved marble streets to the Library of Celsius, the Odeon Grand Theatre, Temple of Hadrian, Roman bath. Next visit House of Virgin Mary, it is the place where mary may have spent her last days. Indeed, she may have come in the area together with Saint John, who spent several yearsin the area to spread Christianity. The Temple of Artemis is known as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient world. Move to Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), Hierapolis and Necropolis visit the extensive ruins of Hirapolis-known for its thermal baths and health centre. Tehreafter, see “Cotton Castle’’ or Pamukkale’s magical and unique terraces & castles created by deposits of white limestones from thermal springs. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay. Dinner will be served inside the hotel.
Day 9 PAMUKKALE- BURSA
After breakfast inside the hotel start your day with high quality textile products made in Turkey’s outlet center visit. Next, Ulcami (Grand Mosque)- the largest Mosque in Bursa with the most striking example of Ottoman Turkish art and impressive calligraphic wall decorations from 1399 AD move to Koza Han and Cumalikizik Village an early ottoman settlement area. The village has maintained its historical character and presents one of the finest examples of early Ottoman Architecture. Transfers to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay and dinner will be served inside the hotel.
Day 10 BURSA- ISTANBUL
After breakfast inside the hotel visit Uludang Mountain “Mysian Olympus Mountain’’ one of the highest mountain in the Marmara region open. Continue to Camlica Hill, it is a popular visitor attraction and best spot to take a photo of Bosphorus with bird eye-view. Visit Camlica Mosque then proceed to Vefa Bazaar, it is like Grand Bazzar & Spice Market but small concept and more for local and prices is much reasonable. This is a shop where you can purchase Turkish Delights, local Turkish Tea Choices, Nuts, Spices, Facila local Statues, Unique textiles products. Then transfer to hotel for check-in and overnight stay. Dinner will be served inside the hotel.
Day 11 ISTANBUL – DEPARTURE
After breakfast inside the hotel and check out. Drive to your Bosphorus Cruise Trip. Here, you will be able to soal in the sights and sounds of Turkey’s Asia and Europe sector as you cruise through this water channel that is the very beat of life in Istanbul. Continue to City of walls, and visit the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque) is a magnificent mosque that has blue tiles adorning the wall of its interior, Hippodrome of Constantinople. Continue to Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sophia, the church of Divine Wisdom, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian. Drive to Sogukcesme Street and Caferaga Medresesi, it houses a cultural organization that teaches and promotes traditional Turkish handicrafts Move to Grand Bazaar for your last minute shopping then transfers to the Airport for your flight back to Manila.
